Prayer People was formed in the early months of 2008 but the vision has been here for a while. This nation is building for a massive release of the spirit over our land, where the dry bones will become flesh. We believe this roots in prayer, praise, prophesy and testamony. These are all things which God has empowered or commanded us as children of God to do and they are the things which we as children of God do not do enough of. |

.: Our Missions
The Prayer People run two main types of missions, the first is prayer and praise nights where our teams will come to your church to facilitate prayer and praise. We are under no illusion that you cannot do this yourself but this is what we feel God has commissioned our hearts to do and sometimes it helps to inspire a church if visitors come to encourage and inspire. The second mission is the FireStarter Conference which we are hoping to start next year at Hollybush Christian Fellowship next year, this conference has the aim of starting missions all over the UK rooted in prayer and fellowship, guest speakers will be invited and the FireStarter mission team will be present. |
.: Empower the people
Everything that we do is to empower your local churches to join together in one voice. We know how powerful that is, the bible tells us how powerful that is. Empowering the people is what God does, he empowers us with confidence to tell our friends about him, he empowers us with grace and forgiveness, love for the people around us. These are all gifts from God and these are all gifts that can be used to further his kingdom. Prayer works we know this and you don't get what you don't ask for in otherwords 'ask and you SHALL receive, knock and the door WILL be opened unto you', so we are asking for Revival, a new wave of outpouring on our nation please do come and join us.
.: Money
Many have asked us about money, how much do we charge, what hidden costs. There are no hidden charges what you see on your piece of paper is what we cost. ALL we ask is to cover the costs of petrol, hire of a van (if needed) and a place to stay. You can put us in different houses most of us can cope with tents etc. That is all we ask upfront, we do like to ask for an offering towards The Prayer People however we only ask after the event when we do not have the pulpit so to speak. This empowers you to make a choice based not on the influences of a 'nice service' but on your heart. Also 10% of all that is given will go back to the local church/churches.
